The Inspire Academies are free, public charter schools.
The Inspire Academy currently serves students in grades K-12.
Our flagship campus, the Anne Frank Inspire Academy Middle School, opened in August 2014 in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
The Anne Frank Inspire Academy is located on a five-acre site in northwest San Antonio, Texas (close to Loop 1604 and Bandera Road). For a map of the area, please visit our Contact Us page.
As an open-enrollment charter school in Texas, the Anne Frank Inspire Academy is open to any student (grades K-12) in the greater San Antonio area.
As part of the Inspire Academies district, the Anne Frank Inspire Academy is a free, public school. Just like traditional public schools, there is no cost to attend.
The short answer is no. As an open-enrollment charter school in Texas, we must have a 30-day "open enrollment period" where any student can apply for admission on an equal basis. If more students apply than there are student slots available (and we anticipate that this will be the case), then we will hold a lottery to determine admission.
The lottery for all applicants who have applied will be at AFIA in the spring.
One of our guiding principles is to keep our schools small so that everyone in the school knows everyone else. The elementary, middle, and high school buildings will have 150 students each.
Absolutely! We will open additional campuses throughout Texas, the US, and the world as the interest, need, and funds arise!
