What is an Inspire Academy?
Inspire Academies are free, public, open-enrollment charter schools. We have two locations:

- And our new location at 12500 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78231 (currently enrolling K–2).
What grade levels do the Inspire Academies serve?
Bandera Road serves grades K–12, and our new campus on NW Military Hwy is currently enrolling K–2 students and will eventually serve grades K–8.

Our flagship campus, the Anne Frank Inspire Academy Middle School, opened in August 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
Back to TopWhere are the Anne Frank Inspire Academies located?

Who can attend the Anne Frank Inspire Academy?

Back to TopHow much does it cost to attend an Inspire Academy?

Back to TopHow do I apply to the Anne Frank Inspire Academy?
Simply complete our online inquiry form. Visit our Admissions page to learn more, or give us a call at (210) 638-5200. If your child has already been accepted to AFIA, please return the completed registration packet to the front office.
Back to TopIf I apply, does that guarantee admission?
The short answer is no. As a Texas public charter school, we are required to have a 30-day open enrollment period. Any student may apply for admission during this time. If more students apply than we have seats available (and we anticipate that this will be the case), we will hold a lottery to determine admission.
Back to TopIf a lottery is necessary, when will you hold it?
We typically hold lotteries in the spring.
How many students attend the Anne Frank Inspire Academy?
We keep our numbers small so that everyone in the school has the opportunity to get to know each other. The Bandera Road elementary, middle, and high school buildings have 150 students each. We will limit the NW Military campus to 300 students once we have added all grade levels (K–8).
Back to TopWill you open additional Inspire Academies?
Absolutely! We plan to open additional campuses throughout Texas, the U.S., and the world as interest, need, and funds arise.
